Hello boys and girls! I have start boardsailing again after 23 years... I would like a cheap and warm place to sail at in the wintertime. I think Gran Canaria should be a great place! The problem is that the Kona One is to big to bring in the aircraft. But if i buy Kona boards and place them at Gran Canaria, are you guys on this forum interested to rent them?
I should be greatful for your comments.

Best regards
Hans

A Kona center in GC would be great, so somebody should start it up...

Hejsan,
Jag är ev. intresserad av att hyra en Kona One på Kanarieöarna i en vecka någon gång sista delen av febr. el. första delen av mars.

Doubt I'd ever get over there, but the less windy days would be improved by having Konas onhand. Also, the Konas 11'5 and 10'5 would be great for the surf sailing crowd. Seen some pics of guys using "big gear" in "light wind" from over there. 5.7 and a 85 liter board is big? LOL. Kona 11'5 and a 7.5 on mast high stuff with 5-15 mph winds is my version of using big gear.....

On the same note... I am going to Nothern Fuerteventura at Easter. And I know how iffy the winds can be there, while the waves can be great. Please set up a longboard (9'5, 10'5) rental there before spring!

Kona and Fuerte North would be a perfect match :-)

Also, the elite rave about conditions all over the Canaries, and the press covers that end of the skill set lots. Having Konas 11'5, 10'5 and others will allow more pedestrian types the opp's to sail waves with way more ease. In this video, the wind is onshore, and not very strong:

Cheers.
