Hi. Ive already own a 10.5 for a couple of years now and love the board. Dealers in konas are a bit thin on the ground in Australia, i was wondering if any one knows of a board similar to the 9.5 i could try? I like the dimensions on this board. Sometimes i find that the long thick sandy beaches make it difficult on ocassions to get the 10.5 and sail to the site. A 9.5 TT is a lot lighter than the 10.5 and would be easier to transit to the site. Of course nothing floats better than the 10.5 and 11.5 so im not expected the 9.5 to perform in low winds as my board. Has anyone got some suggestions if i cant buy the 9.5 in Victoria, Australia? Another brand?

As far a I know only Stonker in Torquay is selling Konas in Victoria (but dont think that they carry much stock), otherwise perhaps contact the Australian distributer Stuart Bell Sails in WA to see what's available around the country.
Anyway it could be worse, carrying a 10.5 is childs play compared to a Kona One!

thanx roy, there is a white 9.5 available but no TTs. Kona One would be rather unsuitable for my requirements!

I was telling roy to order a 11'5 to come in on the next shipment of Exocet's and Konas. May take a while, but oh so worth it.

Hi John,
Im super curious to try the 9.5 on our exposed beach breaks on X shore conditions. 10.5 is a little heavy in the very thick sand. I looking for a similar performance to the 10.5 but easier access to the break. Sometimes i need to carry the 10.5 a kilometre to the best bank. Maybe the 9.5 would be a good compromise.
