On May 10th. and 11th. the Kona range will be presented at the 2008 "South wind days" on the Pointe Rouge beach in Marseille…
There will be some racing challenge on the Kona ONE and there will be available demo boards of all other models. Lots of beach activities like – beach rugby, beach soccer and more.
Kona, is again there, to demonstrate to the large public what “all conditions” windsurfing and “how to enjoy the light wind days” is all about.
Bring your friends and join the party. It will be action on the beach and Kona sessions on the water.
Longboards get all the honours at Defi Wind
We hoped for it, we waited for it…………but the Tromontane winds did not show up for this years mega event – the Defi wind, but nevertheless – the KONA was.
During all those 5 days , The beach site of “Plages des Chalets” was covered with Kona boards and sails. The Mahalo tandem’s, Kona ONE, Kona Surf, Link, 11”5, 10”5 and mini tankers were constantly on the water and tested by lots of windsurfers.
Again, the Kona concept proved its versatility.. Obviously a line of boards suitable for everyone in any conditions – and light wind in particular.
Heaps of windsurfing champions and VIP’s were present at this year’s well organized and state of the art event. The KONA line and the latest Exocet Pro-models became “the most talked about” boards at the 08 edition of Defi Wind.
